The Heat and the Indiana Pacers kickoff their Eastern Conference finals series tomorrow night. Game time is 8:30 pm, and you can watch the game on TNT on your cable or satellite system. Game two is set for Friday night, also on TNT, at 8:30 pm.
Joseph Goodman of the Miami Herald reminisces about last year’s playoff series against the Pacers:

In NFL news, team owners will vote today to decide where Super Bowls 50 and 51 will be played. According to Yahoo! Sports, it doesn’t look good for South Florida:
The Miami Dolphins opened their “OTA” practices yesterday, and safety Rashad Jones was a no-show. Jones was intending to stay away from the sessions looking for a contract extension. Armando Salguero reports this morning that Jones will be at work today:
After seven losses in a row, the Marlins have a positive streak going. Justin Ruggiano and Nick Green drove in a pair of runs each and Alex Sanabia pitched into the seventh inning and the Marlins beat the Phillies 5-1. Make it two wins in a row for the Fish, who managed to score more than three runs in a game for just the second time in the last 13 contests. Tonight at 7:10 pm, Jose Fernandez takes the mound for the Marlins, Tyler Cloud will toe the rubber for Philadelphia. Fernandez has been brilliant so far this season against the Phillies, tossing 13 scoreless innings with 14 strikeouts in the two games he has faced them.
Of course, the Fish are still bringing up the rear in MLB in runs scored. They’re still last in runs scored with 122 in their 45 games. I will be posting the “bottom five” rankings in runs scored until the Marlins aren’t on the list. We could be here a while.
TEAM W-L Runs

Dodgers 18-25 145
