In other news from around the NBA, Brian Shaw finally landed a head-coaching job, and it is with the Denver Nuggets.  Great choice by the Nuggets.  Shaw is a winner.  The Memphis Grizzlies, who recently fired Lionel Hollins, the most successful coach in their history, promoted Dave Joerger to the position.  The 39-year-old Joerger has been an assistant with the Grizzlies for the past six seasons.

From the NFL and Police Squad! files, here is today’s update on the Aaron Hernandez story:

Marlins 25-50 235
Nationals 37-38 263
Dodgers 33-42 267
White Sox 31-42 272
