The Heat and Spurs tonight in game 6 of the NBA Finals, Spurs up 3 games to 2.  LeBron James said it best: "The most important game is Game 6.  We can't worry about a Game 7. We have to worry about Game 6 and going back home, being confident about our game, being confident about getting a win, which we are. So it is what it is.  We have a Game 6 on our home floor."

Numbers to remember tonight:

The winner of a game 5 in a Finals series that was tied 2-2 has won the series seven of ten times.

Since going to the 2-3-2 format in 1985, only three teams have won games six and seven at home.

The Heat are 6-0 this postseason after a loss, winning those games by an average margin of 21 points.

Neither team has won consecutive games in this series,  the Heat haven’t won consecutive games since May 13 and 15th against the Bulls.

Be still, my beating heart.  Make it six wins in the last nine games for the Marlins, who got two home runs from Giancarlo Stanton, and beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 3-2 in the opening game of their three-game series in the desert.  The man-child connected with a runner on in the sixth inning to tie the game at 2-2 and followed that one up with the game-winner off former teammate Heath Bell in the top of the ninth.  That homer was the 100th of Stanton’s career, reaching that mark in his 400th career game.  Tonight, Nathan Eovaldi returns from the DL for the Marlins and will make his first start since last September.  The D-Backs will counter with former Brave Randall Delgado.  First pitch tonight is at 9:40pm and you can watch the game on Fox Sports Florida.

The Fish are still the worst run-scoring team in MLB, with 216 runs in their 69 games.  Here are the bottom-dwellers:

Nationals 34-35 241
White Sox 29-38 241
Mariners 31-40 249
Mets 25-40 249

Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports loves Yasiel Puig, but he may be going overboard just a bit:

My thoughts:  Let’s wait a little longer before we name Puig an All Star and order his Cooperstown plaque.
