Sources are reporting that MLB will announce suspensions related to the Biogenesis investigation as early as tomorrow. Lots to follow up on.

Yahoo! Sports is reporting that the players involved in the Biogenesis investigation are ready to accept their suspensions, while A-Roid continues to try and fool himself, his daughters, and the rest of the world:
A-Roid tells Sports Illustrated that he wants to be a “role model”, especially to his daughters. Here’s the exclusive interview with SL Price:
My take: At this point, I really cannot believe that A-Roid is stupid enough to try and continue this charade and try and fight the inevitable. He would do himself, his family, and the game a huge service by accepting the punishment, taking responsibility for his actions, and moving forward. If MLB and Commissioner Bud Seelig is offering a deal, he should definitely take it and try and salvage whatever career he has left.
John Buck’s two-run single in the top of the 10th inning was the difference, as the Mets beat the Marlins again, 4-2. Mets starter Zack Wheeler took a no-hitter into the seventh inning, when the Marlins finally got to him and tied the game with RBIs by Donovan Solano and Jake Marisnick. Nathan Eovaldi deserved better, as he also gave up only two runs in his six innings of work. Tonight, it will be Henderson Alvarez taking the mound for the Fish, and the Mets will counter with Jenrry Mejia. Game time tonight at Marlins Park is 7:10 pm. Get ready for an afternoon matinee tomorrow, starting at 12:40 pm. Tom Koehler takes on All-Star game starter Matt Harvey.
In other Marlins news, sources tell me that a few teams, especially the Texas Rangers, continue to call the Fish about Giancarlo Stanton. The team’s position, at this time, is that they are NOT trading the man-child.

The Brewers came from behind in both games. Jean Segura had a run-scoring double in the seventh inning to cap a four-run seventh inning in game 1. In the second game, Jeff Bianchi hit a two-run single in the ninth for the win.

Carlos Ruiz and Michael Young each hit two-run homers.

Freddie Freeman homered twice and drove in four runs. Brian McCann blasted a three-run homer, and Jason Heyward had three hits and scored three runs.

Nick Hundley hit a two-run double in the eighth inning to break a 2-2 tie.

In other baseball news, the White Sox, Red Sox, and Tigers completed a three-team trade. The White Sox sent pitcher Jake Peavy to Boston for three minor leaguers. Peavy is 8-4 with a 4.28 ERA in 13 starts this season. The Tigers sent prized prospect Avisail Garcia and reliever Bryan Villareal to Chicago, and received shortstop Jose Iglesias from the Red Sox. The Tigers needed to add a shortstop with the suspension of Jhonny Peralta looming. Iglesias has tailed off a bit, but is hitting .330 this season.
The Oakland A’s strenghtened their infield and traded for Alberto Callaspo, sending minor league prospect Grant Green to the Angels in return. The Yankees had also been interested in Callaspo.
