Please allow me to kick off today’s blog with some personal news.  I will be joining Radio Esperanza 1550 AM starting monday with two segments of my “Descarga Deportiva” (for the Spanish-challenged, “Sports Jam Session”).  My segments will be at 9:25 am and 12:15 pm.  It is a real honor to be joining Julio Estorino, Isaul Gonzalez, Marite Alfonso, the Rev. Martin Añorga, and the rest of the Radio Esperanza family.  Spread the word...

The Marlins are avoiding the bad weather here in south Florida, and are enjoying Southern California as they take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in a three game series this weekend.  Tonight, the Fish will send ex-Dodger Nathan Eovaldi to the mound and he will be facing Chad Billingsley.  Game time - 10:10 pm (Miami time).  The Marlins are looking to get out of the NL East cellar after splitting four-game series against Colorado and against Arizona on this road trip.  They find themselves 1/2 game behind the fourth-place Mets, and 1 1/2 games behind the third-place Philadelphia Phillies.  Josh Johnson and Clayton Kershaw will match up on saturday at 6:10pm, and, on Sunday, it will be Mark Buehrle vs Aaron Harang.  Reviewing yesterday’s action in the National League,

Por favor, permitamen abrir el blog de hoy con una noticia personal.  Regreso a la radio este lunes.  Me estoy uniendo al gran proyecto de Radio Esperanza, transmitiendo por la 1550 AM.  Estare trayendoles dos segmentos de mi “Descarga Deportiva”, primero a las 9:25 de la mañana, y despues a las 12:15 del mediodia.  Para mi es un honor unirme a Julio Estorino, Isaul Gonzalez, Marite Alfonso, el Rev. Martin Añorga, y el resto de la gran familia de Radio Esperanza.  Corran la voz . . . . 

Los Marlins estan evitando el mal tiempo aqui en Miami este fin de semana, y estan disfrutando del buen clima en el area de Los Angeles, donde se enfrentan a los Dodgers en una serie de tres juegos este fin de semana.  Esta noche, los Marlins tendran al ex-Dodger Nathan Eovaldi en la lomita y se enfrentara a Chad Billingsley.  El juego de esta noche comienza a las 10:10, hora de Miami.  Los Peces buscan salir del sotano despues de dividir sus primeras dos series en este viaje, contra Colorado y Arizona.  Se encuantran medio juego detras de los Mets, que estan en cuarto lugar en la division, y un juego y medio detras de los Phillies, que estan ocupando la tercera posicion en la division del este.  Josh Johnson y Clayton Kershas se enfrentan mañana sabado, comenzando a las 6:10 de la tarde, y el domingo, Mark Buerhle abre contra Aaron Harand.  El juego del domingo arranca a las 4:10 de la tarde.
